My Music

Below are some tracks I produced and finished early in my music experience.

“No More”

This is my most recent track entitled “No More”. This is one of the most simple tracks I have produced.
I’m currently working on recording vocals to this track to turn in into a full song. I started with a simple drum pattern I made at 135 BPM. Then continued to record a few different guitar samples. And after some editing and equalizing this is what I came up with.

“Sky High”

I made this track with the goal of creating a very upbeat instrumental track. This one like most of my early work is not meant to have vocals put to it. But rather be and uplifting instrumental track. This track started with a simple piano melody and drum line. I originally wasn’t going to do anything with the melody until I started experimenting with a splicing tool and created a far more complicated melody that comes in at the bass drop. This track took me the longest to make out of any I’ve completed because everything I did with it was new and foreign to me. But with a good few weeks of work put in, this is the final product.

“Lunar Roadtrip”

Making this song was the first time I made a track using my guitar. Since I had been playing for years and was getting tired of using VTS’s (Virtual instruments) to make my melodies, I decided to whip out my electric guitar and start recording. After a few takes I got the perfect loop and that’s when the song took off. I’m proud to say I made this track in less than 4 hours. This is where I figured I much preferred recording my own samples compared to using VST’s or sample packs.

“Mental Error”

This was the first track I ever made. At this point I knew almost nothing about FL Studio. I had no idea how to properly mix my sounds. I didn’t know how to create solid melodies. I hardly knew how to use VST’s. I was very confused at the beginning. It took me a lot of trial and error but I eventually figured out how to create drum lines, melodies, and use synthesizers. After a few weeks of experimentation. This is the track I ended up with.
