My writing challenge

In this month of November, in the year 2019, I have accepted a challenge from Praxis. One meant to test my devotion, my commitment, my work ethic, my writing skills, and so much more. Over the next 30 days I have been tasked to write on this blog every single day.

The idea here is to help us create discipline, improve creativity, find confidence in our abilities, and create a balanced daily routine to stay on top of this challenge.

To some this may sound easy and to some, impossible. I will admit that I’m nervous about this, I have the tendency to re-write things 10 times over before I get the result I want. This can be very time consuming and add a lot of unneeded pressure. I find myself being concerned with meeting my deadlines each night and putting out quality content.

Despite my fears, I’m excited to do this. I have always enjoyed writing, it’s one of my many passions. The ability to create a story or share information in an engaging way, all through the use of letters placed together in the right fashion. I’m excited to improve my writing skills, and my hope would be that by the end of the month the difference between this post and my last in very pronounced. I’m also excited for the challenge that comes along with this. As someone who lives a busy life, it can often be a challenge to consistently schedule new things in. I’m looking forward to taking this challenge on, giving it my best effort, and hopefully crushing it.

Overall I can confidently say that I’m looking forward to this next month and seeing what comes out of it. I’m excited to see how my writing improves, and see what I can create. This marks day 1 of 30 in my writing journey.
